Local Love Story
Even though the majority of our customers and partners are located nationwide, a local network and exchange outside of daily business is important to us. That’s why we launched the XR Meetup back in 2017 together with allies from VR BITS, Schenker Technologies and OVRLAB, which we were able to revive in 2023 after a longer break.
Meet the people
With our XR Meetup, we have created a place to be for the regional XR bubble. Informative presentations from all areas of AR, VR and MR take place as part of an informal after-work event. The latest hardware and software can also be tested and networked on site.
In this way, we regularly bring together the players in the Central German XR and gaming scene and ensure an overarching exchange between science and business.
The Meetup currently takes place every 2-3 months in the Basislager co-working space in Leipzig. However, the Meetup is designed for a Central German context and may also be held in other cities in the future. On average, there are around 50 visitors on site, which is also thanks to the cooperation with Games & XR Mitteldeutschland e. V., of which we are also an active member.
